When it comes to Sims 4, I don't find it particularly difficult to find CC; there are a  lot  of sources , but I also know I'm always looking for the recommendations of others, so surely I'm not the only one. Thusly, here's my list.

I will admit when I go on a CC download spree, I tend to use jDownloader, which lets you drop links in and get the downloads in one bulk go, rather than having to download each thing one at a time.

I do not recommend using this for Sims 2 mods (3-4, eh, it's a different game) as there's so much to do with those re: load order and compatibility; you want to know what you're putting in your game.

For CC though it's a life-saver, truly. I have mine set up to automatically unzip the files and only download zipped files, package files and sims2pack files.

I haven't downloaded CC in a while as I've been on a Sims hiatus, but last time I checked it struggles a little with Sims File Share (I believe they have safeguards in place to combat botted downloads, so they rate limit, maybe?), so although you can use SFS in jDownloader2, if someone offers an alt link of Box or Mediafire etc, pick that for easier downloading!

I use Firefox for my downloading now (adblockers, just in case of Adfly etc), and I use an extension called Copylinks++ to pull links from all open tabs. So I can grab all the download links without having to fight the lag of a thousand tabs, drop them all into jDownloader2 and download.
